Doncha feel sorry for Ann Romney?

She was just on tv and said that the Obama campaign is picking on her husband.

Rosalynn Carter deservedly owns that rant and she doesn't and never has used it. She's a tough cookie and watching Ann makes me appreciate her character (and Jimmy's for not allowing her to go out begging for pity).

she has to live with who she is- and while her life has all the trappings of what people are supposed to desire she doesn't come across as someone who is a peace with herself or the world.

I sense an emptiness in her- a need to get what she sets her mind on that driving this quest for the white house- It's almost as if Mitt is a passenger along for the ride. ??

I wouldn't choose to be her if I could.

silly- but that's me.

She deserves what she gets. It's HER CHOICE to stay with that prick. She made her choice, for hte money, obviously.

Screw her and the horse she rode in on.

Everything is extremely planned and calculated by the Romneys. I don't think she spontaneously decided to voice her emotions. She was told to say this or at least it was vetted. The campaign is trying to make inroads in Obamas female support by portraying Ann as the noble wife coming to her husband's defense.
