Morning Joe: "There are clowns coming out of the clown car". (my words)

I never watch him. Makes me gag.

Joe is full throated: "My party is collapsing while everyone in the White House is lying."

"Spicer lied. Hucklebee is lying, Pence is lying, they are all lying. They all need to apologize."

"Spicer was very upset about the "in the bushes" comment and WP issued a clarification "Sean Spicer was among the bushes".

"Sean Spicer lied, he lied."

This is actually very entertaining. One of the people most responsible for certifying that Trump is not a clown is apoplexic that we are all watching the clown car park and there are clowns pouring out of the car. To say that the Comey debacle (both the decision and the explanation of the decision) have legs is the understatement of the year.

1. He just wants to pivot

So he can praise great leaders like Paul Ryan and Rob Portman. Oh, and President Pence.

Then again, this is so much better for business.

2. Yes, I'm hearing straightforward, unfiltered, clear alarm and outrage in his voice today.

He said polls are showing that republicans are 18 points behind in the congressional poll means that if they don't act quickly they are going to get so far behind it will be impossible for them to recover
But then he went immediately[ into "of course, that is NOT the most important thing here, as we were talking this morning Mika"
And he clearly talked -- extensively -- about how Pence was lying yesterday and so was the DOJ and so was Sean Spicer...

He was showing what he described as the "shameful" photo of trump with the Russians on the front page of the papers, and the fact that American media were kept out while Russian media was let in.

We need every voice in the media we can get that is willing to get focused on the most important issue. He talks to a lot of moderate / libertarian republicans. This is a helpful turn, in my opinion.

3. The woman from Time just called Trump a little nutty if I heard correctly.

5. His main worry is..

that Nancy Pelosi will be speaker and republiCONS will lose seats,not about the not about the country,not about TREASON!
