Democrats, like-minded Independents and Republicans should build a different kind of wall.
It should adhere to our Constitution, be impenetrable by unprincipled forces, immune to sway from moneyed interests, and dedicated to the concept of country over party.
The Trump presidency is like a theme-park cruise ship spinning uncontrollably in a sea overseen by an unhinged, unfit captain. For the sake of our country, that ship needs to be surrounded, the captain removed and stripped of all authority. This can be accomplished only if we unify with others who sincerely love this country.
The anti-Trump, pro-country unity needs to be so solid that no amount of money, dirty tricks, white nationalism, deception or divisive tactics works to alter who we are at our core. We can not take Trump down without the cooperation of more than just Democrats.
