Source: Raw Story
A tweet thread by former Deputy Director of the CIA David S. Cohen reveals the former intelligence officials thoughts on news that Russian ambassadors met in the Oval Office with President Donald Trump.
The first tweet was written by former national security advisor Colin Kahl, which begged the deadly serious question of whether it was a good idea to let a Russian gov photographer & all their equipment into the Oval Office?
Former Dep. Director Cohen responded, on Twitter: no, it was not.
In subsequent tweets, Kahl went on to say that when he worked for Barack Obamas administration, he couldnt let foreign delegations bring phones/cameras into his own office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, and that he had to leave his own phone and camera outside the Oval Office when he worked there.

This move was the equivalent of Trump saying, "Yeah, I did it...but you'll never prove it!" That encounter proves Trump's total disregard for the country or anything that doesn't have his name plastered on it!

We're as smart as any of those 'officials.' Plus, we don't beat around the shrubs. And they can attribute.

American news bring their cameras and equipment into the Oval office all the time. Does he think the Russians don't watch American TV so they don't know what the Oval office looks like?

the Oval Office, fiddled with their equipment, or dug their pockets looking for something...

(36,470 posts)8. Do they need bugs if they have Trump & most of his administration?
It's such a fucked up mess.
