So tRump tells Lester Holt

that Comey told him on 3 occasions that he was in the clear insofar as an investigation of him personally.

IF TRUE, then Comey did misstep/overstep and should be terminated for this, alone. Completely inappropriate.

What do you all think?

what is said behind closed doors.

That said, by all accounts and despite his flaws, Comey is reportedly a standup guy. I don't know...how desperate could he have been to keep his job?

Best for Comey to come out and contradict if this is a lie.

has Trump said something on video in front of millions, then later lied about saying it at all?

How many times has he lied about people, events, etc.?

Don't believe nothing he says. He's a liar.

I bet Comey never said no such thing to him.

One thing about trump though, how he is willing to bust people who believed they are speaking to him in confidence. For example, he is going to disclose Hillary's concession call! Did he even tell her he was recording it?

Sickos!

I'm talking about Trump. Putin's interpreter probably has a hard time translating Trumpish to English to Russian.

Like bigly - who knew it could be so hard.

Drumpf will make up any old story on the fly just to sound like he's in charge.

I'll bet this is what Drumpf tells himself...
"They'll really be impressed and think I'm a strong leader if I told them I was able to use the force of my winningnest personality that influenced Comey to tell me what was going on, even when he wasn't supposed to. Three times, every time he met with me, he just respected me s-o-o-o much, he had to make sure I knew everything was okay, because of the fake news going on. He didn't want to even investigate Russia connections, but the Democrats and CNN kept telling him to..."

Gaslighter-in-chief.

I did hear the dry mouth and saw his face get red.

Mr. Holt did a great job pinning him down, by the way.

Bill Clinton was not president at the time nor was he an integral subject of an investigation that could lead to treason. The President has in my estimation attempted to influence at best or obstruct the investigation at worse by speaking with the Director of the FBI about this investigation. I personally think if this is true (and who knows other Comey himself) that this is obstruction of justice and an impeachable offense.
