Is Trumpsky's "tell" the sniffle?

Watch the Lester Holtz interview. Whenever he says something blatantly false he sniffs first. It's hard to track, because virtually everything he says is a lie, but watch. When he lets loose a whopper, he seems to also offer up a sniffle.

6. I think there could be something to that.

An increase in BP/pulse rate (which happens when one lies) = an increased need for oxygen.

His age and the health status amplifies this physiological reaction, imo.

8. I think you're absolutely right. I've noticed that and thought the same thing.

It's a nervous thing. Kind of a tick. Every time he says something false and thinks about how he's going to back it up or that the lie will be disvovered he sniffs. He knows he's lying. He gets relief from the act. It comforts his nervousness because he is a perpetual liar.
He has done it in his real estate business. Not paying people. Saying he never settles when he does. A lie. He has lied with Trump University. Ripping off a lot of people for a lot of money. Has lied about his tax returns. Saying he will release them after the election then he doesn't. He lied about Pavarotti being his friend when his family says it's not true. They were upset that Trump was using his music. Lie upon lie upon lie upon lie. The sniffing is stress relief. I think it's obvious.

10. People often touch their nose when they lie

I believe the reason for this, please correct if I'm wrong, is lying creates stress which raises stress hormones inflaming mucus membranes and making ones nose itch. Twitler probably knows better than touching his nose but that itch is still there.

Both in the debates and rallies he would do the same thing.
