Yeah, it's definitely a case of the lesser of the evils. But let's say these three are Drumpf's short list to take over Comey's position. Which one would bother you most?

If you just look at objective "paper qualifications", both Ghouliani and the Muffin Man were federal prosecutors, with Rudy having done extensive work prosecuting organized crime back in the day. Those qualifications alone outstrip Howdy Gowdy.
On "who is easier to confirm" between Christie and Giuliani, that's kind of a toss up. They are both dirty as sin, but since that's no longer an outright disqualifier, Rudy probably is seen more favorably by the Faux News / Teabagger bunch, simply because he is more overtly personally odious.

(17,305 posts)And one of the leading reasons why some feel Christie has a lesser shot at the FBI director position. Chump already had to babysit during the Bannon/Kushner disputes. He might have a similar situation if he installs Christie in Comey's old job.
