Sally Yates grants first TV interview to CNN's Anderson Cooper

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper will interview former acting Attorney General Sally Yates this week, the network announced.

In a press release, CNN said Yates "reacts to the dismissal of former FBI Director James Comey and discusses the multiple investigations into the Trump campaign's possible collusion with Russia. Yates also discusses in detail why she declined to enforce President Trump's executive order barring immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries and the resulting personal allegations made against her."

The interview was pre-recorded and will air Tuesday during Cooper's program at 8 p.m. ET.
