(8,329 posts)I give you two names, Abbe Lowell or Stanley Brand. Lawyer up and go to the closest prosecutor and cut the best deal you can.
In criminal matters, Mr. Lowell has successfully avoided charges or defended clients against a wide array of charges, including conspiracy, election law violations, bank fraud, insurance fraud, bankruptcy fraud, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, mail and wire fraud, securities fraud, money laundering, public corruption, honest services fraud, false claims act, obstruction of justice and false information charges and violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). In civil cases, he has helped clients win in cases of breach of contract and fiduciary duty, FCPA violations, civil rights violations, conspiracy, employment discrimination, negligence, RICO violations, securities fraud, tortious interference with business and unfair trade practices. He has conducted internal investigations responding to government, whistleblower or other allegations of FCPA, money laundering, securities and other law violations.
Mr. Brand has represented numerous individuals and organizations investigated by and/or called to testify before the U.S. Congress. He has developed particular experience in the application of the separation-of-powers doctrine. His diverse litigation and counseling practice also includes representing corporations, trade associations, labor unions and individuals in major Department of Justice, grand jury, and independent counsel investigations and trial proceedings, including Whitewater, Housing and Urban Development, the savings and loan crisis, and the campaign finance task force investigations. Mr. Brand has also represented individuals and entities involved in contested election proceedings.

(146,308 posts)end up in a courtroom, under charges. I just want them to tell their story to the media first.
PS: I'm not really a Pro, either. I just play one on the Internet. Don't tell Trump's staff, though.

(8,329 posts)You need the little fish to lawyer up and cut the deals. In this instance, General Flynn is a little fish. He cuts a deal, I dont care if he ever sees the inside of a cell, he cuts a deal and the whole house comes down.
