Wow, Freeperville seems to be on life support these days, check out the 3rd quarter pledge drive

JR's bizarre power tripping and "off with their heads" attitude about banning all who disagree with him FINALLY seems to have caught up with him....he's asking for a reduced (yet still outrageous) amount and is showing a donation rate of 1% per day - even that is probably fabricated to save face.

Unfortunately for them they have no FREE MARKET solution such as ad sales on DU, since no business would want to be associated with a bunch of racist old crackpots. So poor JR just has to keep begging for handouts, even though he "zotted" most of the suckers who were dumb enough to send him money in the first place.

He had a great grift going, and he blew it.

The fab "freepathon meter" is on the first page. You can go to the "freepathon threads" if you dare but the consist of bizarre "patriotic" glitter graphics that make the opening of Stephen Colbert's show look subdued

Nefarty is the goddess of all things IT. Rather short but surly cutie she does have one bad habit.
Occasionally she unfurls her little fairy wings, flies around the computer room, then proceeds to shit all over everything.

I know this. Just recovering from one of her visits myself.

I can believe their bandwidth bills would be in the four digit range per month, and then there's hosting of the servers and associated costs like that.

I doubt the whole bill comes to $85K and that the owner's pocketing some of that for himself, but half of it? A third? Something in that neighborhood? I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

Disclaimer: JOKING!

$85,000... for one quarter.

Wow, those people are getting ripped off.
