GOP Has Too Much Invested In Trump To Impeach Him Much Less Convict Him.

It is just hard to imagine that the GOP will do anything to Trump. So far they have been content to stand aside and let him get away with everything. Plus the GOP base will just revolt. Most of the base still fully support Trump.

And the truth is it is very likely the GOP would have won no matter who was the candidate. I still believe the election really was so rigged. Once Trump had the nomination they had to continue with their election plan.

Really, what were the odds that ALL those key states would have fallen by such close margins and go to Trump. All those states voting totals stink like a fish. And when you look at all the provisional ballots that were not counted and the voters pushed to those ballots it has to be so obvious that something was just so totally screwy.

How things lined up on election night just was not possible no matter how you look at. Voter manipulation, voter suppression, election fraud via the machines and other tactics had consequences. Hillary had to climb Mt. Everest stone cold naked to win as far as I am concerned.

Trump was NOT the candidate the GOP establishment counted on. Bush was their man from the very beginning. Look at all the cash that was behind him at the start of the primaries. Things did not go as planned at that point. Trump somehow hijacked their plans.

Sure they are stuck with him. Start impeachment and he will counter attack. It is like trying to pet a rabid dog.

Of course the good side of this dilemma is that Trump would take the entire GOP with him if we are lucky.

Will he be impeached? Yes, if his numbers go low enough. If there is enough evidence of serious crimes.

His base? Their numbers are fewer than ours. GOTV, even in gerrymandered states. We do have the numbers. And we can change the districting, if we work hard enough at the state and local levels.

of a percent in key battleground states. A mere 80,000 votes gave us this monster.

300,000 did not get to vote in WI. Hillary was the true winner in 2016

Votes for Hillary were trashed in key states. No other conclusion is possible.

as soon as it becomes clear he wouldn't win his next term. Clear to him that is. Then he will get pressured to leave in a way that saves face so they can run Pence or have a whole new primary.

If it's a primary look for the GOP to rally behind a candidate who was a fierce Trump opponent, probably Cruz, so he can run on "I told you so" when attempts are made to link him with Trump.

If the Republicans were to see Trump as imperiling their Congressional majorities, they would impeach him for littering.

If not, they wouldn't impeach him for nuking Honolulu.
