The Trump name is a commodity which he sells for millions of dollars, world wide. Mostly hotels/condos and golf courses.
Just last year, Dubai paid the Trump Organization’s subsidiaries between $1 million to $5 million.

When he is forced out of the WH, that name will not be very shiny anymore.

to suspend these branding deals. that is not complicated.

He is paid for his brand ( and for letting the money from the European millionaires get laundered via the construction of the buildings)
