I met him in person and he didn't sound like that even then when you could imagine he might be less scripted than when on tv or the campaign trail. I dunno what that was. It didn't really sound southern to me either well not like any southerner I have ever known. Sort of sounded like he might have been on some kind of drug. Maybe he had a cold and drank one too many bottles of NyQuil. It would be nice if he did that all the time to give the rest of us a fighting chance to not fall asleep before he does.
