Wow, it's just prime time TV, but Madame Secretary has the gravest

storyline developing. Russia is poised to invade a NATO country, another NATO country is unwilling to defend, secretly because the underdog presidential candidate was taking laundered money from Russians who want to break NATO after their guy wins that presidential race. Other intelligence officials mention the bank in Cyprus and the questionable deaths of Russian money handlers who know too much.

It's just a show, and some of the plot twists are probably silly, but the tone of the threat of Russian trying to invade a NATO country and buy themselves a NATO ally president are seriously discussed as is the future of western democracy.

Interesting how tv sometimes 'gets it,' with the times. The West Wing often did such.

And the movie Bobby is now on Showtime.

when he gets back to the U.S. Maybe it will help him understand the importance of NATO.
