While we gloat

Last edited Mon May 22, 2017, 10:21 PM - Edit history (1)

over the dancing monkey as it shits itself over and over, it's owners (Wall Street, the koch's, etc.) are laughing at us. They are rapidly eroding all of the efforts we made to make the country better. Whether it's health care, the environment, immigration policy, LBGTQ rights, oil pipelines, war profits, or the latest - killing Dodd Frank - they have just about fulfilled the wet dreams of the rich and nasty.

As we join hands and dance because trump might get into trouble again, the evil rulers dance too. They don't give a damn about trump. They will toss him in a minute as soon as he or his actions begin to slow down their complete takeover of our country. When we no longer find his orange head to be fascinating and begin looking into what is happening, they will let him go. He's a puppet who knows he will go to jail when he quits being the distraction that the rulers need.

I just wish I thought that the Democrats in power had some plan to reinstate our country. I'm afraid they are like too many voters - just concentrating on the outrage and insult to America that is trump.

Of course Trump has no clue and just rubber stamps everything that lands at his desk.

No wonder then that the Lobbyists are in a feeding frenzy mode and visitor logs have been banned.

A crime against a state may be the best chance we have of seeing Dump in shackles. I take back my previous post and will continue to hope. There is nothing that would make me happier than to see that crook rotting in jail.

everything is being torn apart or axed. I feel like the more backed in to a corner Trump feels, the less 'supported' he feels he will just set as much on fire as he can and people are going to suffer. He's like a toddler destroying all of his toys, except his toys are basically us.

The hard work is just getting started, 2018 is just around the corner. When we have the House and all these dirty GOPee-ers are out of power, then I'll take a minute to gloat and then get back to work because 2020 is just around the corner...

I'm looking on with horror. The dems are powerless & don't seem to have a strategy, & I haven't a clue what the military thinks - if he has a higher percentage of support there or not. I've pinned all my hopes on the intelligence community.

Watching in disbelief as the Trump administration commits one self-destructive act after another is not gloating. Wanting a thorough investigation and a removal of Trump from office if he is found guilty of colluding with the Russians is not gloating.

But made mine.

As we stare at the dancing monkey, "watching in disbelief", the country is being stolen. While we stare and argue over what is gloating and what is not, the rich are looting the rest of us. We don't notice our pockets being picked and our lives being changed. They trot out their orange buffoon to distract while they loot. The news follows the flashy right hand, while the left hand does the dirty work.

If and when we get our "thorough investigation" and trump's removal, the damage will have already been done.

I think that is offensive enough.

OTOH, I will take victories when they come, and damaging Hair Fuhrer is what can be done right now.
