WTF? Any professional crew would have caught this even if they had to get it on their phones.

(2,358 posts)but the article in the Post says they were there to conduct an interview. The camera was probably fixed in position pointed at a chair for the candidate.
Or perhaps they did get it and gave the video to the sheriff. We can only hope!

Probably a 'deer in the headlights' type moment of sheer disbelief..
Hopefully someone (Fox team or others) captured it on video...

FOX affiliates do not tow the FOX News national network line. Most retain some independence.
That is until corporate tells them to bury a website article or story after the fact.
If they were network stooges, they would have said they didn't see how it started, instead of coming right out and giving a detailed description of the event, and even stating that the assaulted reported did not provoke the situation.

(54,027 posts)The British reporter underplayed the assault by calling it a body slam. It's the Fox news crew who detailed that he picked the reporter up by his neck, threw him to the ground, got down over him, and punched his face at least twice.
The Fox Network news is a bunch of rightwing political propagandists. The local crews are usually just ordinary people trying to earn a living. Even network-based techies like camera & mic operators are not going to lie to cover up an assault.
