How about you guys stand outside all day in it in a business suit and see how the non-Global warming feels.
Tomorrow, it's supposed to be 100 degrees here in New York City. But Global warming is a hoax right? I mean, if we so much get a nip in the air in the winter, you tout that as proof there is no Global warming.
So, put on your nice suit and head outside tomorrow.

(23,550 posts)I guess what I am saying is in 1995 700 people died in Chicago because of extreme heat and humidity. The weather here has been over a hundred degrees for 3 days in a row. But, this year people are not dying like they did in 1995 largely because we don't have the humidity in this heat wave like we did then.
My point is we can't say just because weather is extreme it is caused by global warming. I prefer to go by what the educated scientists who weren't funded by the oil industry to answer those questions.
They have told us there is global warming and that is good enough for me.

(53,410 posts)They've also mentioned the rising sea level on the upper Eastern Coast as well as rising ocean levels in other parts of the world. So yes, this extreme weather in places all over the world is what some scientists are saying is an indication of global warming.

(32,886 posts)that they think global warming is a hoax whenever the temperature gets cold in the winter.
I do think the general tone of weather over the last 7-10 years has clearly been warmer than the 70 years previous and that is what is more meant by climate change, the trend year after year.
