I am trying to like the new MSNBC show "The Cycle",

since it began, but I just cannot "warm up" to S E Cupp. I understand that she is giving a republican viewpoint - like Michael Steele does, but Yikes! She makes me cringe! From her voice, to her body language, to her confrontational attitude to the other hosts.....

Is it just me????

To point out that her background as an Art History major and ballerina did not qualify her for her first job as a political commentator, that she was only hired because she was a sexy conservative, and that she continues to objectify women by flashing her legs unnecessarily on screen makes one a horrible, evil, misogynist.

And if MSNBC doesn't stop putting her on every other show on their line-up all day long I'll stop watching, pdq.

the others do. But I think Torre keeps her in check. I don't mind her having an opinion but I don't want to see the lying. That bothers me. Sometimes I like her and other times I can't stand her. But she is better then alot of those crazy crazy righties. She is bet ter than nothing if they must have a rightie. At least she is respectful of the others point of view and they give her the respect.

if anything, it's getting worse, imo. The last straw for me was yesterday's show where they brought on a body language 'expert' to tell them how they were doing. It was nauseating and blatantly self-congratulating.

I definitely would call this show 'not ready for primetime', so it's not just you!

I don't like the The Cycle and I can't stand S.E. Cupp.

MSNBC is also using the all of The Cycle's teeny bopper one there other shows. I notice something about S.E. Cupp when she was not the one speaking but was on camera. She has a natural smirk all the time. I thought that smirk was here showing "how ridiculous" something being said was but now I just think that is her natural look, and her smile looks as if she is saying "you have got to be kidding". Sorry, I just don't like her. I welcome conservative being on but just not Cupp.

It is boring.

Four hosts is three hosts too many.

It reeks of 'yuppiness'.

Four months to go until the election, MSNBC should have given us a straightforward political campaign show ... not some program with four musing thirty-somethings interviewing obscure guests about the meaning of life and politics in the USA in 2012.

S E Cupp is really the least of the shows problems (frankly, I find the arrogant Touré much more annoying to listen to) --- for all of Dylan Ratigan's filibustering, at least he was very direct, asked some tough questions, stood for some clear ideas and really ran his own show; he was a good balance in substance and style to the wonderful (but clearly biased) Martin Bashir.

I absolutely can't stand the show and Cupp is the main reason. She just seems so arrogant. The show could use a little maturity, too. These baby pundits with all the answers. Yech.

I think there is a big difference between S.E. Cupp and Michael Steel. S.E. Cupp repeats republican talking points regardless of whether or not they have any factual basis. She belongs on Fox. Michael Steel strikes me as someone with an honest difference of opinion. Michael Steel, in my opinion, got pushed out as head of the RNC because he wasn't nutty enough for the tea baggers.

I couldn't stand her the first time I saw her. She spouts the party line and the talking points. She is arrogant and haughty and yes, she always has that smirk on her face. I don't have a problem with the other hosts - but I wouldn't mind seeing an older person on the panel.

I heard her on the Ed show the other day...and although everyone let her make her point when it was her turn to talk uninterrupted, she did not extend the same courtesy. She would not let one other person make their point...she was loud and rude and frankly so so radically right-wing (not conservative, but Fox-news crazy).

I watched a portion of the Cycle show when one of the males mentioned that extensive investigative report debunking Issa's lies on Fast and Furious. She interrupted him and said, "That has been debunked," and moved on with no explanation, as they were going to break, someone said, "debunked?" Because they can only get in one word before she talks over them in her loud fingernailsonachalkboard voice, she said the name of a right wing rag that has likely done no investigation. The lack of discussion on the subject is scary, because that is likely the fox news way..."ignore the extensive investigative journalism...we deem it debunked...and therefore it is." And like zombies, they walk around mimicking, "debunked...debunked...debunked..."

I'm rather indifferent to the whole show. For sure, it doesn't have the intelligence quotient of Chris Hayes or Rachel Maddow. But I don't hate it. It doesn't generate that type of hostility. I don't expect to learn anything from watching it, so usually I don't.

I disliked Cupp as a panelist on Bill Maher and I refuse to watch this hour of her being there.

Pity I need to see a few minutes before Martin Bashir.

For the kids...Hey I am 57, all ya'll at that age are kids. I love the fact there are young adults interested in politics, great to hear their voices and ideas.

I too can not stand S E Cupp..I only will watch the excerpts of the show. She is too brash and harsh. Maybe its the message, GOPers are naturally brash, and harsh.

Some as like Michael Steele, and others have learned to soften it a bit...ya know? I would rather listen to the Cross-eyed guy.
