Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump didnt declare their multimillion-dollar art collection on government ethics forms. They did, however, declare it on Instagram, where Ivanka makes a habit of photographing herself in front of the art hanging in their Fifth Avenue apartment.
While the Office of Government Ethics requires federal employees disclose pieces of art worth more than $1,000, Kushner left a slew of works by blue-chip and emerging artists worth around half-a-million each off his form, according to ArtNet.
The pieces and artists include:
Alex Israel
Alex Da Corte
David Ostrowski
A Nate Lowman painting similar to one that sold at Sothebys for $665,000 in 2013
A Dan Colen mixed-media work similar to one sold by Phillips New York for $578,500 in 2012

So, less money laundry and more tax evasion, which is likely why they're required to be declared on a federal form!

(58,670 posts)you have to assume that a complete list of all artworks they own already exist in insurance filings somewhere. All they would have to do is copy and attach the lists from their insurance papers.
To leave this off almost has to be intentional.
