Usually have it about 3 days ahead of the regular news cycle, too. I love this place.

My mom studied journalism in college. I have her old books from the 40's. I'll throw down with that, for a start.

14. I cruise the MSM sites constantly, but DU is usually the first place I find out about something.

It can be two or three days before the MSM picks up on a story posted on DU and sometimes they don't, even though the reference is legitimate. Yes, DU IS a news organization - a grass-roots one.
