Sweden: Assange deadline for extradition looms

London (CNN) -- WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange faces a Saturday deadline to be extradited to Sweden for questioning in sexual assault allegations, Swedish authorities said.
It is unclear whether UK authorities can take any action because he remains inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where he has been holed up since applying for political asylum on June 19 ...
It is unclear when Ecuador will make a decision on Assange's asylum request.
