Donald Trump behaves like a toddler during Memorial Day national anthem

Donald Trump behaves like a toddler during Memorial Day national anthem
Ashitha Nagesh for Metro.co.uk Tuesday 30 May 2017 10:20 am

Donald Trump was caught bobbing jovially and mouthing along to the US national anthem at the otherwise sombre Memorial Day ceremony.

The annual event was held at Arlington Ceremony near Washington DC, to commemorate fallen members of the American armed forces.
Man accused of Portland train murders shouts ‘death to the enemies of America’

It tends to be a time for quiet reflection and remembrance.

But the president seems not to have got that message – because he was seen jauntily bouncing while the anthem was playing.

Meanwhile the joint chiefs of staff, General Joseph Dunford and Defence Secretary James Mattis, kept still and appeared respectful.

Then Trump appeared to get really bored and fidgety, giving the anthem his best ‘singing in the shower’ rendition.

Naturally, people weren’t too impressed.

Many said he was behaving like a toddler.

as president.

He shits all over our allies and can't even act like a decent human being at a ceremony honoring veterans who gave their lives for this country.

But what can we expect from a draft dodging, con man, reality show clown huh? SMH

He didn't have much of one to begin with.

The question is, will the republican controlled federal government do anything about it?

The answer is hell no of course they won't.

I would like to think that some sort of very public and VERY outrageous behavior that will alarm the public enough to cause an outcry that they can't ignore. Unfortunately, from what we saw in Europe, his hard core base will rationalize, excuse and applaud anything and everything he does, no matter how bizarre, humiliating or embarrassing.

If we don't take back the House and Senate, in 2018, I suggest we start playing dirges and sounding the death knell.

That's why there is no outcry over Dumps outrageous behavior from republicans. They will use him to pass all the draconian cuts to the safety net and give the proceeds to the 1% then blame the resulting chaos and financial depression all on Trump.

Treason, dementia w/e is OK with the republican party as long as wall street and the 1% get a huge tax cut on the backs of the poor and working class.
