Michael Steele: "The talent pool is shrinking, because who wants to sign up for crazy?"

The president is reportedly considering a number of staffing changes after his legislative agenda stalled and his administration drowns in the Russia scandal, but experienced Washington hands are reluctant to sign on, reported The Hill.

Trump rejected many GOP veterans for White House jobs because they had criticized him during the campaign or felt they had been insufficiently supportive, but few reputable Republicans want to sign on with the president after seeing the chaotic first months of his administration.

“The talent pool is shrinking, because who wants to sign up for crazy?” said Michael Steele, former chairman of the Republican National Committee.

“Nobody wants to step into a situation where you’re flying by the seat of your pants and don’t know whether what you just said will hold up from one news cycle to the next,” he added. “Nobody is going to be lining up for positions with that much uncertainty.”

In business this chaotic, throw everyone under the bus thing Chump has going on may work but people in Govt actually give a shit about reputation and legacy (whether we agree with their policies or not).

Also, I have to suspect the majority of the capable staff out there, don't want to hitch their wagons to the Donnor party.

3. There can't be articles about Trump belittling staff and giving them nicknames...

...and still expect people to rush to serve you.

I posted one here the other day...apparently Trump's nickname for Priebus is "Reince-y," and I'll bet he just LOVES that. I'll bet everyone who read the article and gave a moment's thought to working for Trump loved it too.

The only people who work in a chaotic company are those without a choice or they're given the reigns to correct things.

And anyone who is following such a huge fool can't be qualified to run our government.

9. Trump has no experience how to hire and keep good employees.

His empire is built on putting family-members in positions of power, not "the best".

And people wanted to work for him because of his illusion of success. When that no longer worked, they quit or he fired them.

But now, Trump does not have an reputation of success. The only reason why somebody would agree to do business with him, why someone would agree to work for him, it's no longer there... Poof. Gone.
