The RNC Has a Madness Problem
By Charles P. Pierce
May 31, 2017

There is something very liberating about the knowledge that the entire Republican political apparatus has drifted into a madness from which there likely is no return. Some of it was there all along. (People who ridicule the administration's tax plan as being a single piece of paper should be required to explain why the entire party has based its economic thinking for three decades on something a guy scribbled on a cocktail napkin.) Some of the party has been dragged into it by its support of a vulgar talking yam.

An example of this came across the bar in the shebeen on Tuesday when the Republican National Committee declared war on the two most recently named Fellows at the Kennedy School of Government, Joe and Mika. Honeymoon on the Charles!

From the RNC:

Some people are crazy. Some people are carriers. Some people are both and get elected president.
