The Tories can't really use the London Bridge terror attacks to win votes:

Last edited Sun Jun 4, 2017, 03:02 AM - Edit history (1)

After all, it's the SECOND terrorist incident of this election campaign, in a campaign held while the Tories were still in power and therefore totally responsible for the security situation.

(note: I've changed the thread title and the OP to reflect apparent confirmation of the fact that this was a terrorist incident. It was not absolutely certain that it was terrorism when I posted this thread, and I wanted to avoid spreading hysteria and giving aid and comfort to xenophobes as well. The wording was never intended as a minimization of the attacks-what happened was equally wrong no matter why it happened).

The guy who is UKIP leader, Paul Nuttall, has been a comprehensive disaster in the job, and UKIP is at 4% in the polls.

Besides, at this point May can just argue that a vote for UKIP is a vote for Labour.

I wanted to hold off saying the "t-word" until we knew for sure.

It's not like I'm defending these acts.

I've now changed the thread title.

Is there something wrong with wanting to make sure I'm not spreading hysteria?

Not sure why you're jumping down my throat about this. I wasn't claiming what happened was no big deal.
