Once again we are treated to "terror porn." Both the terrorists and the networks love it!

As do Trump, the nationalists, and those looking for more military adventurism.

Who loses with the "terror porn" shown on our TV's continuously?

Everyone else.

They need the "we are keeping you safe," to keep us from noticing that they are also keeping us poor, sick, hungry, disenfranchised and uninformed.

George Orwell described it in "1984" with the "War in EastAsia."

and last year’s election, the press continues to fail to fulfill its First Amendment mandate, and is instead complicit in facilitating reckless, irresponsible governance.

trump, but we are making SO MUCH MONEY!"

So, the world is endangered, our country is being ravaged by trump and the vandals, and CBS is making SO MUCH MONEY!

Screw him and the horse he rode in on, and also all of the MSM outlets who have defaulted on their major duty -- bringing us important information

If they can't do it, then they sure as hell should say so and get the hell out of line.

When the battlefield comes to places where we live, work, eat, shop, socialize, we are entitled to know about it.

As grown ups, we can decide how much we want to inform ourselves. This is a situation that is continuing to unfold, with the toll rising and arrests and investigations ongoing.

Don't bother to reply, because I am trashing this thread, so I won't see any reply you might make.

health care -- and we should see that. We don't see the threats to people by his decision to allow the mentally incapable to buy handguns -- and we should. We are not shown the harm of his decisions to reduce spending to CDC -- and we should.

The klaxon of "terrorism" freezes rational thought, and that's exactly as trump and the terror porn providers want it.

The Israelis have it right on this -- when bad things happen, clean it up and don't make a bigger deal out of that.

hands?

Osama Bin Ladin himself wrote about his desire to bankrupt America by involving them in wars in the mid-east - see https://www.theguardian.com/world/2002/nov/24/theobserver

Our overreacting to these terrorist actions only embolden ISIS, etc., in the Middle East. We cannot kill our way to victory, and even Mattis says that.

do you think that the media can possibly have a culpability for bringing harm to others on the planet?
