He was so funny in 3rd Rock From The Sun, and so creepy in Dexter. The 4th season is so brilliant of that show.

Since you referred to it in the past tense, just wanted to make sure you knew in case you were interested: NBC renewed "Trial and Error" at the last minute, surprising many. So it will be on again at some point in the new TV season.

I wasn't expecting much from it based on the previews, and yet it turned out to be hilarious.

NBC doesn't always have the best track record when it comes to sitcoms so I wasn't sure whether or not it would be returning.

"The Crown" is a first rate series, MUCH better than the Sunday night costume operas inflicted on us by PBS, these days.

I love John Lithgow. I've never not loved John Lithgow.

But I think Robert Hardy did quite an exceptional job as Churchill.

My previous favourite had been Timothy Spall in The King's Speech, but now I can only imagine Lithgow in that role.

I looked to see if this was available in poster form and have not yet, but I found a lot of other notable quotes with regard to humanities and science. This was another that I found:

“The value of an education in a liberal arts college is the training of the mind to think something that cannot be learned from textbooks.” -Albert Einstein

Great things begin as ideas, and ideas are cultivated in the humanities.

Some of us have understood the arts belong in the STEM program from the get-go and should be called STEAM. My son, graduating from UCLA this year is steeped in STEAM, but we're confused trying to figure if he will be taking STEM to the arts, or bringing the arts to STEM.

The "A" is for arts.

Thank you, movie industry!

Blockbuster movies employ huge numbers of artists these days, entire teams of artists working on a single CGI character or set, not to mention the actors and sound tracks.

Money talks.

About 2-3 years ago, when "STEM" became vogue, I felt they should include the arts and call it STEAM.

Shoulda filed for a copyright.
