It's a common expression in every language. It's a question that Donald Trump should probably answer on a daily basis. We should keep asking him that. Whenever he embarrasses our nation in a tweet. Whenever he says something so stupid that it makes us all cringe. We should ask him that question, which will go unanswered, of course.

I think you have to have a consciousness to feel shame.
You have to know when your wrong.
He never thinks hes wrong.
Look at his twisting the meaning of the London Mayors words to BE right.
We feel the shame he should feel, whether we voted for him or not.
He makes all of us look like him.
Im glad my Dad, 23 years and 10 months in the USAF didnt have to see this mess.

4. He's a narcissist, and as such does not recognize shame.

At least not consciously. Some psychologists think narcissism is a subconscious mechanism that allows a person to repress feelings of inferiority and shame. Maybe so. But I think "narcissist" is just the technical term for "asshole."
