Official resigns after using n-word to describe Flint residents

FLINT, MI -- The sales manager of the Genesee County Land Bank has resigned his position after water activists recorded him saying Flint's problems were caused by "ni***** (who) don't pay their bills."

Michele M. Wildman, executive director of the Land Bank, said Monday, June 5, that she has accepted the resignation of Phil Stair, a longtime employee of the agency.

Stair, who's white, was recorded making the comment by Chelsea Lyons, an environmental activist and independent journalist who has been active recently in the Flint water crisis.

"Flint has the same problems as Detroit -- f**ing ni***** don't pay their bills, believe me, I deal with them," Stair is heard to say on the recording posted online by Truth Against The Machine.

It continued to escalate during Obama's tenure. However, trump'd knew how to accelerate the situation even more with his rhetoric. Karma will not take kindly to what he has unleashed.

I mean, Cheetoh is running the country, we need to be outraged about that instead of silly things like this.
Republicans want us attacking officials so that we make enemies, maybe we shouldn't do what the RW'ers want.
I'm sure he was just referencing historic examples.
What, a white guy can't even reference something Malcolm X might have once said?
Why are we so busy policing language when TRUMP is in the White House?!?
What's all this outrage over a silly single official when TRUMP is blowing up everything?!?
Why isn't anyone attacking the people in the audience who heard him who didn't do anything, huh?! Sounds like a RW plant.
He just needs to apologize and everything will be fine.

Yah, they all sound pretty stupid to me too.

((Oh...in case anyone missed it: ))

Why is he giving an opinion on that, anyway?
