President Donald Trump is expected to meet with top Republican congressional leaders on Tuesday afternoon, according to four sources familiar with the matter.

The meeting has not been officially announced but is expected to occur at the White House. The gathering is expected to include Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin as well as their top deputies, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California and Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn of Texa), the sources said, though the list of attendees has not been finalized.

Later in the day, Trump will meet with rank-and-file Republicans from the House and Senate for dinner, according to POLITICO Playbook. There is much to discuss: The Senate's efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare are flagging, Republicans have barely started on tax reform and the Trump administration is now trying to push an infrastructure agenda on a reluctant Republican Party.
