to be moving along a lot faster than Watergate. according to analysts anyway. We'll see. We can depend on the right to both try to slow it down and to also try to make it boring to those who've been trained to feel that if it's not entertaining it's not important. And that hits across the spectrum.

I suspect it will depend on how much he acts to protect the party as a whole, as opposed to only selfishly focusing on protecting his own doctored legacy for the history books. Rump is disposable, of course. In any case, I suspect a show of great "integrity" trying to mask highly politically driven statements. And for his Republican interrogators, at least a pretense of attacking him as an opponent...

We all need to keep in mind that no one becomes director of the FBI who isn't very very politically connected, very politically skilled, and of course very, very skilled at self aggrandizement.
