and got hooked. Most of my 'sophisticated posts' are links to Jeff Masters and the Weather Underground folks.
My close friends always laugh at the fact that we were among the few who prepared for Hurricane Gilbert back in 1988. The vast majority of folks here had lost their collective memory since we hadn't had a big one since the 50s.
