Even the president swears to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. Not his office. Not the American people (even Obama fell into that trap on occasion). The Constitution. Without the Constitution, there is no United States.

Conservatives are fixated on use of the word Constitution. I think you get one free murder if you are holding a copy at the time. Hillary was crucified by right wing pundits for failing to say "uphold the Constitution" when asked her Supreme Court guidelines last year in the first debate.

Comey did well to mention the Constitution early today. That diffused and confused wing nuts. Too bad he didn't drive them nuts by using the word in every sentence he called Trump a liar.

...based on his being a businessman, his ignorance of government, not to mention every employer is justified in demanding personal loyalty from his employees -- they are getting on my last nerve. Every one of them glosses over the Oath of Office as though it is a trifling issue.
