Fox News was even more Bizarro World than usual this morning

I'm not quite sure exactly how Bizarro World it got, since I got up later than usual, and as always I was channel surfing the cable news networks.

But what I heard left me feeling even more than usual that I'd fallen into an alternate universe whenever I listened to the hysterical spin on Fox.

It wasn't just the idiot "Trump has been vindicated!" crap.

They're already pushing a narrative they seem to all be agreeing on, that Comey is the evil Deep State genius who masterminded the situation poor helpless baby Trump finds himself in now, with Comey "setting Trump up" by leading him on and even (horrors!) taking notes on their private meetings, and then leaking them so a Special Counsel would be appointed...when in the bizarre world of Fox, Comey was REALLY supposed to be baby Trumpy's nanny and guide him and keep him safe from any trouble his naive baby steps might lead him into.

You just KNOW Fox News would have been defending Richard Nixon through not just his resignation but his dying day, had that travesty of a network been around then.

I'm amazed that Shep Smith, who shows 100% more intelligence and integrity than the others on Fox, can stand it there.

I suffered through about 15 minutes of Hannity the Manatee last night and this was basically what they covered:

1. Loretta Lynch has a lot of 'splaining to do!
2. Comey was weak and soft for not advising Dump on what he was doing during that meeting.
3. Oh, and Dump never actually tried to influence the investigation, but Comey was still wrong for not advising him.
4. EMAILS! Yes, they mentioned Hillary - their go-to for distraction even now.
5. Comey should be investigated for his leaks.

It was all at once bizarre, the apt word you chose, humorous but also extremely troubling, as millions of rubes are only watching this toilet for their 'information' and this is the garbage they are getting. That includes our man-baby POTUS. No wonder they have no idea of what's actually going on out there.

and sinker.

Anyone at any point of the spectrum on the political left should reject it immediately, as the implication is that the President is not responsible for the actions of various portions of the executive branch.

The President IS responsible. The President commands all aspects of the executive branch and military, can fire any of them at will and is responsible for their actions.

It seems that each and every one of these alpha male, he-man, masters of the universe, outlets are spouting the exact same talking points. It's almost like they're just a bunch of neutered drones carrying out the orders from some anonymous overlord, instead of the free-thinking rugged individualists they like to fancy themselves:
