5. But McLame made the first exhortation before Burr piped up to confirm

I believe McLame is in there - There was some media showing him going to the room as "ex-officio". Reed is not a member either but is asking questions right now.

2. While they let Wyden and the men be aggressive in questioning and she wasn't even that aggressive

She was much more pleasant and smiling than Wyden and others, but still that weasel McCain still tried to shut her down- disgusting

13. I didn't hear any man not letting the witness answer, and interrupting right away.

It really was frustrating, and she was overzealous in stopping anything but a yes or no answer, which I don't believe she has the right to do in that sort of setting. It's not a trial.

Her questions are good, and she was right that Sessions was going to evade after flowery language, but she was premature in interrupting him several times and not letting him get but a couple of words out before she interrupts to ask the question again or ask something else.

15. I recall King specifically interrupting Sessions

and Warner and Reed might have done the same.

EDIT TO ADD: Glancing at the transcripts on Politico, Sessions was interrupted by Warner, King, Heinrich and Harris. Only Harris was chastised. Reed didn't interrupt Sessions but his questioning was incisively direct and left Sessions little wiggle room.

Sessions did his own share of interrupting and talking over senators to boot.

16. That's not Warner's style.

They may have interrupted, but this person did more than that. She was in attack mode, in a way, and had done the same thing repeatedly, not just once. They didn't call her on it at first. It took a while before someone finally intervened.

12. "It makes me nervous"

Could you imagine if Kamala Harris or any other woman said that if they were in Session's place? McCain was out of line. She was asking reasonable questions and he was filibustering.

Thank you California for electing her.
