our election process. The way I see it - if Trump acknowledges Russian interference with the 2016 election - it diminishes his win.
He likes to think that he has won the presidency because he is so popular and great and people love him.
Already we know he can't deal with the fact that Hillary won the popular vote - as he thinks he's the most popular and that is why he wanted to investigate those 3 million more votes that Hillary got over him.
He keeps touting the fact that he won the Electoral College. If he acknowledges the fact that Russia interfered with his win - he acknowledges that he isn't as great as he thinks he is.
That's why - this whole Russian interference thingy is fake news. He can't admit that he wouldn't have won. He thinks he's done this all on his own - and he really didn't.

His ego can't acknowledge Russian interference, I agree.
Yes, there's the element of possible criminal charges and impeachment also involved - but the illegitimacy factor is the biggie for Trump.
His fragile ego can't abide it.

As long as Democrats are not in power, the world is a perfect place for them. Constitution be damned.
