1. If only they cared. Repubs in those states, are the stereo-typical pro-lifers.

The only time wherein they give a shit about children is from conception to birth, after that they couldn't care less.

4. Not Sure I Agree

Being opposed to abortion under all circumstances is not the same thing as providing for comprehensive health care for the pregnant mother and fetus (care for the unborn). Too bad they don't break this down by how soon after birth these babies are dying. If they are dying within the first month then it tells me that the mother is not getting adequate care while pregnant and are giving birth to unhealthy babies.

3. It's more than just that

They are also apposed to Planned Parenthood, an organization that about 98% of what they do is to provide family planning care to low income women. If Planned Parenthood wasn't made out to be such a beast because of 2% of what they do (abortions), then more women who are below the povertly line could get inexpensive birth control and affordable pre-natal care from Planned Parenthood.

So, many of those same states - they have the high percentage of people with no healthcare at all.
