During the recent G7 Summit Meeting in Sicily, US President Donald Trump received criticism for riding in an electric golf cart for 700 yards, while other participants walked. Recognizing that criticism, Trump has ordered a custom, gilded sedan chair from a prominent British coachworks company. It is designed to be carried by six Secret Service agents, due to the Presidents imposing avoirdupois. It will be loaded on Air Force One whenever he travels internationally. A spokesperson for the White House said, "A golf cart is not prestigious enough to reflect the enormous egotism and self-importance of President Trump. This sedan chair will better reflect the superior position of our Dear Leader."
Delivery of the new transportation vehicle is scheduled for later this Summer, it is reported.

(146,324 posts)and it's a bit old-fashioned, but it popped into my head as I was typing, since Trump certainly has plenty of it. I pity the Secret Service detail that has to carry him around in that sedan chair, for sure.
