Erick Erickson Dubs The Left 'American ISIS', Calls For Secession

Erick Erickson called the political left “the American ISIS” in a new column titled “Let’s Consider Secession,” following the shooting at a GOP baseball practice that left five people wounded, including Majority Whip Steve Scalise.

The conservative writer — who has made a name for himself both as an ardent critic of President Donald Trump as well the guy who called your daughter a “whore” — starts this week’s particularly bleak column with “this past week has made me realize the situation in this country is unlikely to get better.”

“We have 320 million people who hate each other and the left shows no signs of toning down rhetoric after last week’s mass assassination attempt,” Erickson continues. “If anything, too many of them regret there were no deaths.”

In what may prove to be one of the more hysterical and least thought out responses to last week’s shooting, Erickson goes on to illustrate how historical instances of horrible violence — from Nazism to Communism — are all the result of “butchery from leftwing ideologies.”

Actually, Erick "Son of Erick" Erickson, the only folks I've seen who are sad that more people weren't killed have been Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity and NRATV.
