WHO KNEW that the Panama Canal was a Trump-branded property?

While in the Oval Office with Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela, President Donald Trump appeared pat himself on the back for building the Panama Canal.

“The Panama Canal is doing quite well. I think we did a good job building it,” Trump said.

The United States got permission from Panama in 1904 to build the Canal and former President Jimmy Carter signed the Panama Canal Treaty and Neutrality Treaty, which gave control back to the Panamanians in 2000.

Yes, the Panama Canal is doing fine and yes, we, as in Americans, built it.

None of the success or building is Trump's fault. It happened a long time ago. Before he was born and so he's off the hook on that one.

Does he think it was built recently? The only thing he is interested in is his real estate property, Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower in Panama City, Panama, his flashy 72-story casino, hotel-condo complex.

Advertised as "the largest and most expensive building ever built south of the Rio Grande", it comes as no surprise that Trump found another Russian link, “the Russian mafia is believed to control some prime real estate in Panama City".
