Source: The Hill
NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman told ABC News on Friday that he felt like he was at least partially responsible for the release of now-deceased American student Otto Warmbier, who died on Monday.
...
"I asked on behalf of Dennis for his release three times," Volo told ABC News. "Because when I was organizing the trip ... and I meet with the delegates here, you know, I addressed Otto Warmbier. And I said to them, 'we would need his, you know, a release, some type of good faith, if we're ever going to do some type of future sports relations.' They said they understood."
...
The basketball star called North Korea's dictator Kim Jong Un a friend, saying people don't see the "good side" of the country. Rodman didn't meet with Kim this time in North Korea but has met with the reclusive leader in the past.
"People don't see the good side about that country. It's like going, like, to Asia. It's like going to like Istanbul, Turkey, or any place like that, " Rodman said. "You know, you going to see some poverty. You're going to see some people that's not doing too well."
Rodman says if people got to know Kim Jong Un, they would like him.
"I think people don't see him as a friendly guy," Rodman continued. "We sing karaoke, it's all fun. Ride horses, everything."

(6,976 posts)Must have really been as bad as people said it was, because he's damaged mentally beyond belief.
It's also obvious that he's living in an alternative universe to the point that he's totally delusional.
