When asked about his "bluff" and if worked against Comey, Trump said, “When he found out that there may be tapes out there…I think his story may have changed,” Trump said. “I mean you’ll have to take a look at that because then he has to tell what actually happened at the events.”

In other words, he would be more inclined to tell the truth if he thought there were tapes of their conversations?

In other words, he made sure that Comey would tell the truth under oath. And if he told the truth, it does not look that good for Donald Trump. It came from his own lips.
