You guys have become really creepy toward women. This is serious now and you really need to seek some professional help. Over the years you have been splainin' how rape is not a bad thing. You tell us to relax and enjoy 'cause it is just a little bit of sex after all.
This quote from Clayton Williams, Rape is kinda like the weather. If its inevitable, relax and enjoy it. Sweet guy, huh? Then there was Rep. Lawrence, "If a woman has a right to an abortion, why doesn't a man have a right to use his superior strength to FORCE himself on a woman?" Oh please, let us not forget this man's brilliance... Aikens If its a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to shut that thing down. Then Ricky boy Santorum, " although a pregnancy resulting from a rape might be horrible, it was nonetheless a gift of human life and that we have to make the best out of a bad situation. Make the best of a bad situation??? WTF Rick. It is bad enough that the men actually spouted off this crap, yet here is a woman, Jodie Laudenberg and that breaks my heart she would so betray us. In the emergency room they have whats called rape kits, where a woman can get cleaned out. How crass and thoughtless. What is it Jodie, like cleaning day at your house, you bring in some janitor in a drum and just clean things out?
So to move on, these types of men mentioned above, minus that woman all had a say in forming the best of the best health care for us womens...cause you sure know they respect you. Here are some of the highlights that the men deem unnecessary for women: medical coverage of childbirth, family planning services, cancer screening, parental leave, abortion and childcare responsibilities, prenatal testing, birth control, more...
So, they have made it all perfectly clear, crystal clear, we do not only get 78 cents on the dollar in pay looks to me like we get less than half the medical coverage a man gets.
Here is a thought, they will not cover the births of their own children because their health needs are more important than ours. I say go fuck yourselves, your needs before ours, that would be a no. You have been fucking us over for years, ya'll can go talk to the hand now, we are done with you.
Bye bye GOP. You are collectively nothing more than heartless soulless bastards. May you all rot in hell.

(30,058 posts)respect. He was twenty points ahead when he made this comment, it was at a time when these gaffes would sink someone, well, he sank. We had the privilege of having Ann Richards as the governor of Texas. It is time for these comments to meet with death of a candidates campaign.

(83,898 posts)I hope they enjoy all that gritty sand. Wonder if DeathCare will cover the damage. I sure hope not. Sounds like a preexisting condition of stupidity, testosterone and way to much ego to me.

(4,033 posts)Maybe it is time to haul out 'The Lysistrata Project'* and put it on the front burner big time.
*The Lysistrata Project was a peace protest initiative in which thousands of readings of Aristophanes's play Lysistrata were held on March 3, 2003 internationally, in reaction to the Iraq disarmament crisis. The event was co-founded by New York actresses Kathryn Blume and Sharron Bower.

(83,898 posts)It is not and has never been all men. You are not one of them. I go through the same things at times, ashamed to be white when I see what goes on around us. Yet we do the best to RESIST. It is about us standing for each other.

(90,793 posts)Perhaps we should send those quotes to Bill Cosby for his talking tour coming to a theater near you.
**Bill Cosby plans speaking tour on how to avoid sex charges**
Following a mistrial in the sexual-assault case against Bill Cosby, the comedian apparently will hold a series of town-hall meetings aimed at teaching attendees how to avoid being accused of sexual assault.

(90,793 posts)I'd like an acknowledgement and an apology from Mr Cosby indicating some insight into the harm he's done, not only to the dozens and dozens of women he raped -- but to the millions of people like me who looked at "Dr Huxtable" as the father we never managed to get in real life.
That's vanishingly unlikely, so in lieu of that I'd like him to slink away and stfu. Forever.

(8,090 posts)where, exactly, do you think they're going? Democrats fully control only six states. We're way past "talk to the hand." You may be "done" with them, but they are nowhere near "done" with you, or any of us.
