Not allowed to take pictures at press-briefings, CNN expertly trolls White House.

There’s something comforting in seeing the White House through a courtroom sketch.

On Thursday, going back on years of tradition, the White House announced that they would not allow audio or video recording during the day’s press briefing. They later changed their minds and agreed to allow audio recordings only, inexplicably.

Today, CNN pretty hilariously trolled the White House by sending their Supreme Court sketch artist Bill Hennessy to the press room to capture the scene.

It's almost as if 45* and the repukes have a playbook to keep us focused on ridiculous bullshit while they quietly dismantle the country. They're neutering the EPA, they're ruining schools, they're taking away our healthcare, and on and on...... while much of the country focuses on the silly games being played by 45*.

To me, the health care reform shit show of 2009 and then 2010 mid terms was the cold hard, slap in the face.

I am 50+ and long before that had come to know just stupid this country was, but after 2006 and 2008 I thought we would have a nice little run and get some good things done.

But, the alternative reality we lived for two years where the republicans whipped their zombies into a feeding frenzy over the greatest threat do democracy ever - democrats working to pass THEIR FUCKING FORM OF HEALTHCARE REFORM, and the country in all of its wisdom flipping congress after just two years of full democratic control (including POTUS) to get them the biggest mid term win in our history and bringing in dozens of the most radial right wing lunatics congress has seen ...

After they had left this country in flames just two years earlier ...

That was a pretty clear indication of just how fucked we were.

I am sick in my stomache, heart and soul where things are right now, BUT am not the last bit surprised and frankly have said all along that I very much could see it all happening.

And, sorry to say - I can't see how it does not in fact get MUCH worse.

These scumbags know full well this country will continue to indulge right wing fuck wittery.

See - the "health care reform" and the country truly could care less ...

They'd get some great stuff like you do when you hit pause/freeze on your video and catch people with their eyes closed or tongue sticking out or mouth open. Show those on TV while audio plays in the background and I'd bet cameras would be back in a heartbeat.
