Karma is like a giant beach ball...

...that is floating on the ocean. Eventually it will make it to the shore.

Its progress is slowed by wind and external forces.

Likewise, karma is slowed by negative emotions, like anger and hatred.

As you walk along the beach, careful not to cut your feet on broken sea shells, you can hear the gentle waves lapping the sea shore. You can hear the sea gulls in the distance.

The giant beach ball appears to be getting closer to you.

You can see the red, yellow, green, and blue stripes around the ball.

It is early morning and there is a chill in the air.

It is calm and peaceful as you focus on the colorful ball making its way toward the shoreline. The sand is soft and comforting to your bare feet.

These are the moments to free your mind. Take in the fresh air and listen to the sounds around you.

As the beach ball floats closer to the shore, you can see that someone has written a message in one of the yellow stripes. It washes ashore at your feet. Like karma, it made it to shore in its own time.

You pick up the beach ball and turn it in your hands so you can read the message.

What does it say?

(This is a thought experiment) To free your mind for just a short moment.
