Know your correct Terminology: DEMOCIDE (i.e., "murder of a People") vs. GENOCIDE

According to political scientist R.J. Rummel (1932 - 2014):

"Democide is the murder of any person or people by their government, including genocide, politicide and mass murder. Democide is not necessarily the elimination of entire cultural groups but rather groups within the country that the government feels need to be eradicated for political reasons and due to claimed future threats."

Democide can also include deaths arising from "intentionally or knowingly reckless and depraved disregard for life"; this brings into account many deaths arising through various neglects and abuses, such as forced mass starvation.
He discounts military or police actions, or mob violence.

Democide is Death by Government or Government policy.
Originally defined for Mao's "Cultural Revolution".

Increased incidence of public death due to forced denial of access to health care based on financial status or type of community certainly falls under the definition of Democide.

Genocide specifies an ethnic group - the poor, disabled, immigrants liberals, "non-Christians", and "non-Republicans" - otherwise known as 3/4 of the population of the United States cannot be identified as a specific ethnic group. But they *can* be identified as Citizens of the United States.

If anything, the soon to be murdering Political group - the "Clan of the Wealthy White Conservative" can be identified as a specific ethic group, out to get rid of anyone that is not like them.
