Where Trump crossed the line with Republicans?

When Senator Dean Heller of Nevada said that he would oppose the Trumpcare Plan, the White House put the hammer down. They had one of their political groups announce that they would run a million dollar ad campaign against Heller in his re-election bid. This was a Republican White House running against a Republican Senator.

This scared the BeJesus out of the rest of the Republican Senators. If they were to disagree with the President on any issue, would they also be targeted? They circled the wagons.

Although not yet reported, this was still lingering in the air when they went to the White House to meet with their President about the Trumpcare bill. This was a dagger in the back of Mitch McConnell and he wasn't none too happy about it.

Politically, this may have been Trump's biggest mistake in a long while?
