Who else will lose insurance, besides Medicaid recipients.

It hasn't been talked about much, but almost as many people in the individual market of Obamacare will go off insurance.

In Louisiana (Sen. Bill Cassidy), 188,800 Medicaid recipients lose healthcare, and 154,200 people who buy Obamacare will lose insurance (presumably because of less subsidies and/or the way the subsidies are given).

The "essential benefits" requirements are removed, but people can still buy them. It just lets people buy less than that, if they need to get the premium down or a benefit doesn't apply to them (like a man not buying maternity coverage). But the ins.cos. may still lump a bunch of benefits together and include maternity coverage, anyway.

The extra benefits aren't free.

3. Who can afford coverage at this point?

The Rethugs are doing everything in their power to put Americans lives in danger. Making sure they are not able to afford insurance is a death sentence for some of these people.

So if a guy doesn't have to buy maternity coverage, then women don't have to cover vasectomies, Viagra and prostrate exams or cancer. The insurance companies refuse to regulate themselves and the Congress won't regulate them or go after the pharmaceuticals to lower their prices. Insurance companies are making a killing, pardon the pun, and killing.

It is well past time for the insurance industry to be re-regulated and stop bullshitting everyone. This "essential benefits" meme is BS, it's another excuse for them to rip off Americans.

My two meds alone cost 2/3 of my income. Why don't they go after the insur companies and big pharma? Why don't they FIX the ACA? It is do-able! This should never have been allowed to,become a partisan issue at all! Now we're all fucked.

I am going to the Impeach Trump Rally in San Diego on July 2 with bells on! I HATE HIM!

those prices.

And ins. cos. need to be regulated.

It's time to fix the healthcare once and for all.
