It's not an admission of a crime, and it's not blackmail.

The tweet reads that Joe Scarborough asked Trump to intervene with the National Enquirer and stop a story being run. The tweet then says that Trump declined to interfere on behalf of Joe.

That's not blackmail and that's not a crime. In fact, it's what Trump should have done given the circumstances described in the tweet.

All that being said, Trump is a lying douchebag, and I no more believe this tweet than anything else that's come out of his mouth in the last 2 years.

National Enquirer/White House aides continued to pressured him to apologize for criticizing Trump. They said that if he did that, Trump would kill the story.

The President attempted to blackmail journalists who criticized him.

Trump's tweet as usual is a lie, totally misrepresenting what really happened.
