The Hospital Patients Are At Fault

They should have been armed, so they could shoot back.

Clearly we also need to start arming ALL Doctors, Nurses & Hospital Personnel.

Waiting patiently for the condolences from the NRA and it's members.

Thoae without insurance shoild be used for target practice. This will prove the importance of the 2nd amendment as it reduces the ranks of the uninsured.

I was working on a research project in a trauma center Emergency Room. One night that seemed like an ordinary night with the usual illnesses and trauma cases coming in, there was a ruckus out at the entrance doors. It seems there was a shooting in town but the shooter shot the wrong guy. He shot the brother of the guy he meant to shoot. So he came to the ER to get the one he meant to shoot in the first place.

Very shortly after things started unfolding, someone shouted, "He's got a gun!" It took a few seconds for that to sink in. But when it did, everyone in that ER began diving and lunging to get under desks or any place to hide. No one thought about anything except hiding and getting out of the sight line of the shooter. It was rather chaotic and definitely very frightening. I didn't hear anyone wishing they had a gun. We were very grateful for the security guards and the police officers who took control of the situation without ever firing a shot. I can only imagine the carnage if random amateurs with guns began firing at what they believed (but probably didn't know for sure) was the bad guy.
